The hate I get for my color is nauseating to say the least
Hope you know that your savior wasn't white in the Middle East

One from the tree of life the other a strained noose
I'm lookin at both views
One of them fully God
The other made in His image glimmering the color bronze
I know that the sun'll shine when it's said and done

Tolerating people ain't the same as forgiving them

Yet even He found reason to fulfill his purpose
Despite the hostility throw his way
