The Living Tombstone
Good Ol’ Days
[Verse 1: Dash-N]
Let me take you back to late twenty-eleven
Back when you could only dream about season seven
It was around that time that I became a brony
I was new to the fandom, I had no one to show me
All the awesome things the community offered
Didn't even know there was a fandom to be honest
But I soon found out, started reading fanfics
Found all the fan music, got all the latest hits
Now I was a little late, I'll admit again
I wasn't there when the thing began in twenty-ten
But everything was still new, everything was fresh
And I felt at my best, though my life was a mess
Now those colorful ponies, they were fucking amazing
But now it's twenty-seventeen, now the fandom is fading
Where did the good days go? I'd go back if I could
Take me all the way back to when times were good!
[Chorus: JackleApp]
Trot with me through the autumn leaves
And keep close to stay warm
Soon you'll see how much you mean to me
Feelings I never felt before
[Verse 2: Dash-N]
Remember when Tomb made music about ponies
And that documentary he was in about bronies
And IBringDaLULZ had all of his songs up
Before he took a little break, removed his pony stuff
And that song Pony Swag was super brand-new
It was the kind of thing everybody got down to
And the original Good Ol' Days came out and that
Was a masterpiece by Mic, Tomb, and Jackle App
But now they're all gone, so I'm reusing their stuff
To make a brand new song that I hope is good enough
A song that I want played again and again
And a song that asks the question what the hell happened
Now everything seems old, everything is cold
Now the new generation is coming and taking hold
And I'm not sure if the good old days will come back
But the times they were there were the best I ever had
[Chorus: JackleApp]
Trot with me through the autumn leaves
And keep close to stay warm
Soon you'll see how much you mean to me
Feelings I never felt before
Trot with me through the autumn leaves
And keep close to stay warm
Soon you'll see how much you mean to me
Feelings I never felt before
