Glistening Bay
Oh those hills were tall and winding
The roads, they did divide
When we reached the top, we stopped
To see over the side
Oh the fickle sea I've always loved
Unto this very day
I do recall that city far below
Just like a glistening bay
And from the bay, they grew the sky
And every universe was there
Reflected on the surface of the earth
Upon the road, between my toes
I felt blue grassy threads
And a chill wind caught my heart
And raised the hair upon my head
I thought of home the whole night long
And where the time had gone
I sat there on a high cliff top
Upon the warming land
A perfumed seed has caught the wind
Blown in from open sea
A hit of precious stone, I held
Inside a weathered tree
Oh those hills were tall and winding
The roads, they did divide
When we reached the top, we stopped
To see over the side
Oh the fickle sea I've always loved
Unto this very day
I do recall that city far below
Just like a glistening bay
A handful of small flowers
Which were nestling in the grass
I tossed them to the sky
And watched them as they bounced
Oh the fickle see I've always loved
Unto this very day
I see those flowers go floating down
Towards the glistening bay
Oh those hills were tall and winding
The roads, they did divide
When we reached the top, we stopped
To see over the side
Oh the fickle sea I've always loved
Until this very day
I do recall that city
I do recall that city far below
Just like a glistening bay
