Behan the Scene
Hands Off My Time
You ever seen somebody hit the lottery,
get overexcited
reveal their identity
before they can get a lawyer
or secure their bag?
You ever seen the people shapeshift,
huddled around like a football team?
What team?
No team.
Everyone for themselves,
or not.
You ever seen me with my guard down,
the gate fenceless,
the safe combination clear?
I have,
all the time actually,
but now I realize.
Get your hands off my time;
it's mine.
I'll spend it how I please,
even if it means
I have to try to use it in one sitting,
just so they don't get to it.
